Since Hendrix has been introduced to solid foods I have been making all my own baby food. At first I was all excited 'cause I would bake a couple apples, throw 'em in a blender and voila! homemade baby food. I got all psyched and started running around acting like I was the Martha Stewart of the puree scene.
The problem is I don't have the time to keep up with all this baby food making and more importantly when you are out and about trying to rush around doing errands and what not, how on earth are you supposed to thaw out the frozen baby food? This has been a major pain in my keister.
In comes Plum Organics Baby Food.
Okay, first off let me just say that I tend to stay away from reviews because i'm scared that i'll run into a product that I don't like and how awkward is that? I was especially nervous about that because im a huge baby food snob. So I was reluctant but in an effort to find something Smoosh loved and I didn't have to feel guilty about I signed us up for a review. I thought Plum Organics could possibly be the solution to my problem.
Well, boy is it ever! Plum Organics is INSANELY yummy. We (and I mean we because I don't give Hendrix anything I, myself, wouldn't eat and I taste everything he does) loved every flavor. The Just Peaches is heaven. Hendrix literally snorted like a pig while trying to inhale this stuff. I could have eaten the whole thing myself. We were practically fighting over it. The Just Mangoes is a tasty little treat and the Spinach, Peas, & Pear sounds kinda crazy but was super delish.
Now, on to the best part. The genius's over at Boon and Ecomom teamed up and created a spoon attachment that screws right on top of the Plum Organics Baby Food pouch and you give a lil squeeze and the spoon is flooded with the puree. Holy convenience, Batman! I fed Hendrix with one hand at his brother's baseball game, a Starbucks after a long day at the beach, at the park, while mini golfing, and by the pool during a weekend getaway to Martha's Vineyard. I really can not go on enough about how much I love this product. By far my favorite discovery for Hendrix to date. No joke.
Everything on the Ecomom website is reasonably priced and they even offer a new program called the EcoPass which allows EcoMom Customers to purchase a $99 Annual Membership, which provides a 15% discount on every order, as well as enjoy free shipping with no $75 minimum order requirement.
