I'd Like To Introduce... and Friday Findings

Okay, Everyone...Meet Ernesto! Hendrix's first "lovie". He is a giant green frog and H loves to suck on/bite/ wrestle/ cuddle with his plush buddy.

I tried to rename him Rocket but Ernesto has stuck and he has quickly become part of the family. I was really into my stuffed animals when I was a little. I had an otter that I slept with from the age of two until I was married (ok and sometimes after that but only if I was sick or hardcore PMS'in)
I love watching H cuddle up with his froggie friend. It's adorable and I'm hoping that eventually it will help replace my boobs as a form of comfort since while I'm not sick of actually nursing him, I am seriously sick of nursing him to sleep.

Comfort can come in many forms...pacifiers, blankets, stuffed animals, ect. Do your Littles have "lovies" and if so what are they?

Seriously, How cute is he??? Ugh, I can't stand it.

Now, on to this week's Friday Findings!

Mommies Who Shop is a mama only event with a great mix of shopping and socializing. I love this idea!! I'll be there. More info HERE.

I've been super into this mommy blog entitled Lullibies To Terrorize. Amanda is witty and stylish and her lil man Jack is too cute.

Cute Baby Tumblr. F**k Yeah babies!.

Ask me Anything! I'm on Formspring.

Claudia Schiffer is prego, half naked, and dressed like a nun in June's German Vogue. Babble posted pics HERE.

OhhDeeDoh
posted an adorable circus themed boy's room complete with a ferris wheel toy bin.

Gosh darn, I sure do love me some Rock N Romp.

Have a great weekend everyone and be sure to tune in next week...I have some giveaways coming up.

  1. I rock my daughter to sleep (I know, I know...) AND she has a pacifier. I'm like the 'don't do this' example in all of the parenting books. The 'lovie' idea is great, i hadn't thought about it!

And yeah, he's so cute it's almost unfair. The eyes, I die.

  5. Elly has a "lovey " bunny and a blanket passes down from my great grandmother in her crib at home and the same blanket( we have 2) one was mine, and a lovey bear pretty much made if the same material in her crib where I nanny.... She cuddles them and def needs them to sleep. I tried to stay away from the needing to have the same thing all day long henceno bink.... Then again she is only 15 months, so for now her lovies ate for sleep and traveling and the occasional church trip.

  6. Sierra has a little classic pooh bear with a pink blanket attached. It wasn't MY favorite thing, but it was small and easy to bring with us everywhere. When we introduced the lovey idea she wasn't crazed, but now when I put her in her crib for either a nap or the night, she immediately turns over and hugs her lovey to fall asleep cuddling and talking to it. Then usually around 4:30 or 5 am she comes into my room and nurses and sleeps a bit more til we get up.

  7. MY lovie's 'lovie is a stuffed monkey. They totally get along because of their mutual affinity for bananas :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and leaving me with a smile.
